The first European
Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP 2006) was hosted in Nov.
2006 in Nice, France.
EuCAP was organised by the European Network of Excellence ACE, under
the EU 6th Framework
Programme (FP6) and is co-sponsored by the European Space Agency (ESA)
and supported by the European Action COST-284.
As a further step in the
ACE efforts to structure and coordinate research in Europe,
EuCAP provided a forum for the European R&D communities in the
Antennas & Propagation area, both at academic and industrial
levels.
EuCAP is supported by the top level Associations in Antennas &
Propagation, and, in the spirit of AP2000,
and it regroups the former JINA and ICAP conferences.
This conference provided the ideal place for the exchange of scientific
and
technical information and to foster collaboration and cooperation in
the Antenna & Propagation domain both at European and global
levels.

More
than 1000 participants were registered
for the EuCAP conference and exhibition. Many of them visited the booth
of
AWE Communications and got detailed information about WinProp
and its various features.
Experts
of AWE Communications had fruitful discussions with potential
customers and interested experts. Expectations and wishes regarding new
features for wave propagation models and radio network planning tools
were discussed and will improve WinProp
in its future evolution.
