WinProp supports many different database formats for topographical,
clutter, and building data.
With the database editors of WinProp, the user can generate the
databases (scanned maps can be used as backgrpund images to have a more
convenient user interface).
But of course commercial databases can also be used. The databases of
the following vendors are compatible with WinProp:

AWE Communications
|
AWE
Communications provides pixel and 3D vector digital map databases
for the software package WinProp.
AWE offers 50m resolution world-wide digital elevation /terrain
data (DEM, DTM).
Clutter (land usage) and urban 3D vector databases are also available
for many regions of the world.
Many sample databases (including also indoor vector data of different
types of buildings) can be obtained for free.
A conversion of any commercial database to the WinProp data format is
also offered.

ComputaMaps
manufactures 3D digital map databases for use in wireless network
planning, flight safety applications and broadcast terrain
visualization. They supply 50m - 200m resolution country-wide heights,
