In PS service simulations (esp. HSDPA) the delay of all successfully
transmitted packets are recorded. There are two different quantities:
The Packet Delay is measured from the generation of the packet (corresponds
to the arrival of the packet at the Node B) to the successful reception
at UE side. This includes scheduling delays, transmission delays, and
retransmission delays (on packet level or transport block level).
An example histogram output is shown below. It contains several data
lines, whereof each corresponds to one sector.
