Propagation Modeling


All propagation models of WinProp can be used for the planning of the networks. Propagation models for the following scenarios are available:


Especially the combined network planning modules (CNP) should be mentioned in this context as they allow a combination of  different propagation scenarios (e.g. 3D indoor vector data combined with urban vector buildings and with pixel data for the topography) with one propagation model (e.g. penetration into urban buildings).

The path loss, predicted with the propagation models, is used for the planning of the network (cell areas, best server, throughput, SNIR, ...)
