The project EILT (EmItter
Localization under MulTipath Propagation Conditions), co-funded by the
BMBF (German Ministry of Research),
was successfully started at April 01, 2012.
Within EILT
the ray-optical propagation models will
be extended to build a simulation platform for the evaluation of localization
algorithms.

June 2011
Mercedes
relies on WinProp simulations
In a new project - funded
by the German car manufacturer
Mercedes - the interaction
between DVB-T
and LTE
signals at passenger cars is evaluated
with WinProp's highly accurate propagation
models. The goal of the project
is to find the perfect location for
the antennas on the car to reduce the
interference between DVB-T and LTE,
especially if the car is located close
to a DVB-T transmitter. Comparison
with measurements are used to validate
the accuracy of the simulations.
