The PPP solution

Introduction

 

For companies who want to combine maximum performance and minimum price, the new PPP (Pay Per Project) license is ideally suited: Very often propagation models are only required for a single project (or a few projects) and nobody knows anything about further requests. So standard licenses of radio network planning tools and propagation models are too expensive - but PPP licenses are the solution.

Description

 

You can purchase an annual license of the whole WinProp software package (all modules, all tools, all executables). You can terminate the PPP license whenever you want or you can purchase it only for a single year. And you can re-activate it within a few minutes, if you need it again (for a new or for the same project).
With the PPP license you are entering into the professional world of sophisticated propagation models.

The PPP license contains rural, urban and indoor propagation models as well as simulators for network planning (GSM, WCDMA,....). You can make as many computations as you need with the PPP license during the one-year period and you can extend this license as often as you like - even after a long period without any valid PPP license you can re-activate the license within some minutes. This gives you a maximum flexibility for a minimum (fix) cost. Assign the cost for professional propagation modeling directly to your projects and not to your annual budget!

The databases you need for your work with the PPP license require a special coding before you can use them in combination with the PPP license. This coding is made by AWE Communications depending on the scenario for only:

paid per square kilometer
Urban scenarios
paid per building
Indoor scenarios
paid per wall
Antenna patterns
paid per pattern

So the only prices relevant for you are the annual fee and the fee for data conversion.

After the coding of the databases and the coding of the antenna patterns you can use the databases and antenna patterns for arbitrary computations with all modules in the WinProp software suite.

The PPP license is ideally suited for users who want to use WinProp only sporadically for a reduced set of scenarios or for users who need sophisticated propagation models in a professional software suite for a single project (or for a small number of projects).

Your work with the PPP license

 

You can edit or generate your urban and indoor databases with WallMan and after you have finished your work, you send the database (via e-mail or CD-ROM) to AWE Communications where the database is coded for the predictions with the PPP license and after the coding the database is sent back to you (via e-mail).

After the coding you can preprocess your database, you can modify the material properties and you can compute arbitrary predictions with all propagation models available in ProMan.

Also the antenna patterns generated with AMan (or other tools) can be converted to be used in the ProMan PPP license.

The prediction results computed with the PPP license can be used for network planning without any further coding.
