Where WinProp does work

Operating Systems

  


The Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) of all WinProp software modules are developed for MS Windows™ (7, Vista, XP, 2000). They use no system calls and so they will run with all windows emulators in different environments (Linux, UNIX, Solaris....) without any problems.


WinProp is available for 32 and for 64 bit operating systems.


OpenGL and DirectX are used for the 3D display of the GUIs. If OpenGL and/or DirectX are not available, the 3D display will not work.

The propagation and network planning modules are controlled via open ASCII project files and can be compiled for all platforms where a standard ANSI C compiler is available. So a transformation of the modules to arbitrary environments (and operating systems) is easily possible. Please contact us if you have further questions.

Libraries / DLLs

  

All propagation modules and network planning modules are also available as plug-ins (dynamic link libraries (DLLs). So they can be integrated in a wide variety of applications.

We recommend to use the sample databases and antenna patterns provided by AWE Communications for the evaluation of the software tools and for the analysis of the software products on your PC.


Additionally you can use your own databases (generated with WallMan or converted with AWE Communications' conversion service) and antenna patterns (generated with AMan or converted with AWE Communications' conversion service) for the evaluation of ProMan.
