Most commercial radio network planning
tools offer a wide variety of features and
tools for the planning of wireless
networks. But very often the propagation models included in these tools are
only basic models like Hata-Okumura
or COST Walfisch-Ikegami for urban scenarios
and COST Multi-Wall for indoor environments.
More sophisticated propagation models can only be integrated via an
API.
AWE Communications offers its
popular prediction models with DLL
interfaces for 3rd party radio network
planning tools.
Additionally
AWE Communications offers an
API for the integration of indoor,
urban,
and rural
wave propagation models and network
planning modules into any software
tool of a customer.
The API is available for Microsoft Windows
(32 and 64 bit) as well as for Linux (32
and 64 bit).
