Within the framework of the FORUM (FemtO cells in heteRogenoUs Mobile
networks)
project,
AWE
Communications
develops a software package for the simulation and
analysis of
femto cells.

FORUM
is
scheduled
for
16
months, starting at July, 2010. The
project is co-funded by the BMWi
(German Federal Ministry of Research).

Communications develops

The department
of Mobile Radio Systems at the Institute for Communications
Technology
at the Technical
University of Braunschweig (Germany) will contribute
measurements in femto cells for the optimization of the accuracy of
the new propagation models and simulators.
