Applications of WinProp in the MIMO domain

WinProp fast and accurate urban and indoor ray optical propagation models are ideally suited for MIMO channel modeling.

Some typical applications are:

MIMO Channel Analysis The Nokia Research Center used WinProp to model the radio channel in complex indoor scenarios.  Especially the possibility of WinProp's fast and accurate 3D ray tracing propagation models to compute the directional channel impulse response together with delay and angular profiles helped the engineers to understand the mobile radio channel better and to improve their MIMO technology.
MIMO Simulations for WiMAX networks Samsung decided to rely on WinProp for the simulation of MIMO performances (based on WinProp's sophisticated ray tracing engine) and for the radio planning of WiMAX networks.
