Applications in highly accurate ray-optical propagation modeling


 

WinProp is used for ray-optical propagation modeling. Especially the preiction of the directional channel impulse response and the angular profiles is very useful for the understanding of the mobile radio channel in complex scenarios.


Some typical applications are:


The University of Colorado models the multipath scenario for the sea-based joint precision and landing system (JPALS) in aircraft carrier scenarios with the highly accurate ray-optical wave propagation model of WinProp.
