We want that you to get the max. benefit when using our Products 


Support for Software Products

The WinProp software products can be purchased without any support (annual licenses include always support - but perpetual or PPP licenses are without support).

However, AWE Communications recommends to purchase support to get the max. benefit when using our products.

Three types of support are offered: 

  • On-demand support
    A small annual basic fee. The hours are billed individually - depending on the actual amount of support requested. No reaction times are guaranteed.
  • Advanced support
    Annual fee is 20% of annual license price. This is a flat rate i.e. the price is independent of the number of support requests during the 12 months.  Reaction times on requests (crahses, bugs, problems,..) are guaranteed - but no as high as in premium support.
  • Premium support
    Annual fee is 30% of annual license price. This is a flat rate i.e. the price is independent of the number of support requests during the 12 months.  Reaction times on requests (crahses, bugs, problems,..) are guaranteed - and shorter than advanced support.

Support for Databases

Databases for rural, urban, and indoor have a strong impact on the performance of a network planning tool. Therefore AWE Communications supports engineers during the generation or conversion of databases.

  • Generation of databases
    AWE Communications can generate databases for you. Please send your data to AWE Communications and then you will get an offer for the generation of the database.
  • Conversion of databases
    Sometimes databases have special formats not supported by your software products and converters. AWE Communications offers a conversion of nearly all types of database formats for a very cheap rate. If you are interested please send an example of your database file together with your format description to AWE Communications and after a few days you will get an offer for the conversion of the databases.
  • Using the PPP version of WinProp for real network planning and propagation analysis
    If you need only a few propagation simulations or network planning examples, you can use the PPP license. Further information concerning the different types of licenses can be found on the license page.

Software Development 

AWE Communications offers customer-specific software development. Either on the basis of WinProp or on customer defined platforms.
The application range depends on the wishes of the  partners and stretches from network simulators to propagation modules. Some typical examples are:

  • link level simulators (developed in Matlab) 
  • system level simulators (in C/C++ as WinProp extensions)
  • platforms (visualization, handling of databases and prediction results) for customer specific DLLs 
  • propagation libraries (as dlls)
  • .... 

Studies

If persons or national authorities are not sure, if they get the correct information from network operators, they contact us to make a study to validate technical alternatives or enhanced solutions.
